The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. The tiny-tots of Bohra Public School celebrated Teejon July 30,2022 with great joy and fervour in the school campus. The students came dressed in green- coloured clothes. Keeping in mind the theme of Teej, the display board was decorated accordingly. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. Teachers and kids were seen enjoying the swings. The School Principal, Mr. Rohan Khanna talked about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teejis primarily a festival celebrated in Haryana which marks the arrival of greenery and celebrates as the reward of nature. The tiny-tots were delighted to play on swings and enjoyed eating traditional sweet- Ghevar.
