Independence Day Celebration
On the memorable day of 15th August 1947, our motherland dawned to the greatest victory of freedom. To mark this glorious triumph, India blissfully celebrates Independence Day every year. We all are set to celebrate our 77th Independence Day- “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.” Remembering the indomitable spirit of our freedom fighters and participating in the splendid victory of freedom, Bohra Public School, Ballabgarh celebrated Independence Day with a great boundless enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 14th August, 2023 in its premises in the distinguished presence of Mr Rohan Khanna-Principal, teachers
and our lovely students.

The event commenced with the welcome speech given by our student. This was followed by presenting an immensely sublime emotional song by our teacher Ms. Shanti. It was dedicated to the fathers who sacrificed their lives in war. The song expressed the pain of the child who has not met his martyr father in festive moments. After that, the programme culminated with two mesmerizing dance performances by students which were mentored by our dance teacher Ms. Jyotsana. An inspiring patriotic song was sung by our choir group, instilled positivity and courage in the audience. This event also consisted of a valuable teacher talk presented by our teachers Ms. Jyoti and Ms. Kiran who took us to the year of Kargil war. Ms. Jyoti discussed the velour and sacrifices of our soldiers and officers who took part in Kargil war. Ms. Kiran discussed the pain and struggles which Indians had undergone before the independence and succeeded in conveying the crucial message of patriotism. Thereafter, our principal Mr. Rohan Khanna addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. He also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country. This jubilant event ended up with booming National Anthem which was sung by teachers and students with pride and honour.
